My 24th bday and 1st Time Rockin My Natural Hair...

Yesterday I turned 24. YAY!! Happy Birthday to Me : D! I enjoyed my day with family since the weather was quite rainy in VA. I do go out later on last night for a couple hours but it was just to chill with some friends.

For my hair, I originally wanted to invest in some Bohyme hair but I couldn't find the time to see if my local beauty supply store had any in stock. I gave up in getting that hair for now (it may be my christmas hairstyle) and just decided to attempt to style my natural hair.

I have never been good at doing my own hair. If it was a weave or wig, I can do just about anything and everything to make it look nice. So I was hoping I could whip something up. I knew I wanted to attempt a twist out but my only concern was if it would look decent enough after I finished.

I followed tonidaley80's video on youtube for how to do a twist out on blow dried hair and I followed prettydimples01 video to get my blow dried hair.

Here's the end result which I am extremely happy with....

The only thing I wish I did is washed, blow dried, and twisted my hair the day before so my twists could be more defined. I did everything yesterday morning so the twists weren't as defined as I would have like. It was still cute nonetheless. I retwisted my hair last night and slept with them in so hopefully I will have better results.
