OFTD: Janelle Monae Inspired...

When I woke up for church yesterday morning, I was trying to figure out how I can spice up my outfit.  I found a pretty interesting video on youtube on how to tie a regular tie into a bow tie.  After that my outfit just came together. 

I borrowed one of my dad's ties to complete my look.  I got a lot of stares lol because of my outfit but who cares.

So what do you ladies think, did I hit the mark with my Janelle Monae inspired outfit?

Tutorial: Christmas Eve Sparkles...

Ok to get the weekend started I figured I could start by posting a tutorial.  I have a set schedule in my mind for how I want my post to go...let's just see if I can stick to it.

So this is the look I wore to work on Christmas Eve.  I saw a pic on tumblr of a look similar to what I created and if I can find it again I will go back and edit this post so you ladies can see it.

Happy New Year and What's To Come...

So first let me start off by saying HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!  I can truly say that I am excited to see what the new year holds for me and I am so ready :)

Ok now that I've gotten that out of the way, I want to discuss what's to come with my blog.  I've noticed that my last couple of posts have been tutorials.  Now that is cool because last year I wanted to push myself into making more videos.  Well, I didn't really mean in this way.  

So be looking for more outfit, reviews, hauls, as well as other new exciting things to spice up my blog.  I probably will reduce the posting of videos to once a week to space it out a lil.  I will also be doing diy posts and videos as well.  

If you ladies have any suggestions for what you would like to see on my blog, please feel free to let me know in the comments.

This is the process I did to do a wet twist out on my wet hair.  I used the Perfect Results Curl and Twist Definer as I twisted my hair and I loved the results!!!  Stay tune for part 2 to see for yourself ; )

1. I am extremely petite lol.  I'm only 5'2 and I weight about 100 lbs -_- yea it's that kind of party.

6. I recently upgraded my makeup storage!  There will be a video once I get organized the way I want.

7. I'm returning back to my love of getting my nails done.  This french mani I'm currently rocking is on POINT lol!
